All About Mish Mash:

We sold on Jane for over 11 years! I started the company as a way to help support and pay for our 5 sons missions (we are LDS), and far surpassed that very quickly. Now we donate 10% to help support other missionaries around the world:) My 5th son leaves to start his mission in Argentina, Salta the day after Christmas! I am a one woman show (except for my embroidery team) which was a friend of mine that had 2 small embroidery machines. With the work I generated from our sales, she was able to grow her business from 2 small machines to 8 including several large commercial machines, and a team of 6 people! I handle all ordering of inventory, communication with suppliers, product imagery/photo shoots, descriptions, packing and shipping, customer communication, etc. Fun fact: I was a model for 7 years before starting our family. I continued until pregnant with my 4th. Took a 9 year hiatus and came back as an “older model” for a few years. I’m 54 and absolutely love anything entrepreneurial. All 5 of our sons have their own businesses too…from window cleaning, to trim carpentry, framing, to cookie baking and catering. I wanted to learn to be a good cook as my family grew. I learned to love it and recently started teaching baking classes in my home as “The Irreverent Baker”.
